Missionary Talks 65: Jonathan Reed

Filed under: Podcast, Show Notes — david at 7:57 pm on Sunday, March 8, 2009

Jonathan and his wife will be working with unreached people groups on the Amazon river in Brazil. It was great to talk with Jonathan just a few weeks before he leaves for the field. He is very excited about the ministry that God has led his family into. Jonathan grew up on the mission field working with tribal people in northern Canada. This type of ministry is not new to him, though the location will be very different.

At the end of the interview Jonathan shares with missionaries, or potential missionaries, his thoughts on what our ministry on deputation should be like.

If you want to contact the Reeds, or keep up to date with their ministry, you can visit their website for further information.

I found this interview and the link highly informative! This is a wonderful website. I am looking into missions especially in Brazil and South America.
That story about the five missionaries in Ecuador mentioned by Mr. Reed changed my life about a year and a half ago. It was the inspiration for my writing this song http://freakyfrugalite.com/flames-of-fire/
Thank you so much for sharing this interview and this wonderful message!
