Missionary Talks 24: Sherry Rovirosa

Filed under: Podcast,Show Notes — David Peach at 6:41 am on Thursday, May 3, 2007

Sherry is the wife of Pancho whom I interviewed for episode 14 of Missionary Talks. They are going to Cuba as missionaries. Since they do not have permission for their whole family to live in Cuba at this time, they will be working in México.

The Rovirosas are in the process of renting a house and getting a feel for the area. I talked with Sherry about the purpose of this trip. She shared with me what they are trying to find out so that they can work on a final budget. I also talked with her about her fears, concerns and joys about moving to the mission field, especially as it relates to her being a mother.

It was very insightful and I think can be helpful to others who will be packing up to head to the mission field in the future. […]
